EcommIT signs a deal to develop order management application for SupplyCo

Kochi,Kerala,India,May16-2008 -EcommIT (http://www.ecommit.com), a leading Software Development firm, today announced that they have signed a contract with Supplyco Kerala, a fully owned Government Company with more than 2000 employees, to implement a software which will enable a consolidation of the individual medical store requirements at the whole sales depot level and the purchase order to the pharma vendors will be issued by the wholesale depots ensuring the benefit of scale.

Under the terms of the agreement, EcommIT will provide an advanced order processing and invoice automation solution -Medsoft which will enable Supplyco to manage the complete transaction of medicines between the Wholesale Depot, Retailers and the Suppliers. The inventory management of the wholesale depot is also to be done by the software.

This is the second software development being undertaken by EcommIT for SupplyCO, the earlier one being the highly successful supply management solution to automate the Atta procurement process. EcommIT’s technology based on open standards will again be used for this new development work.

Supply Chain Management Solution deployed for SupplyCo

Kochi, India March 12, 2008 – EcommIT labs have successfully deployed the supply chain management solution developed for Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation ( http://www.supplycokerala.com) . The application was developed and deployed within the time frames and budget agreed on and has enabled SupplyCo to automate the supply chain management of the fortified atta product in a efficient and transparent manner.

EcommIT developed and deployed a Web Based Fortified Atta Supply Business Process Automation solution. The SupplyCo head office as well as the private vendors were linked using the web based software provided. Inventory, invoices, purchase orders and payments were captured in the system to make it transparent.The Xibos framework based on open standards were used to build the application. The requirement study was carried out by EcommIT staff at SupplyCo and the application was built in less than two months.

EcommIT Labs deploys XiBos framework for rapid web application development

– EcommIT Labs, the provider of affordable software development services to partners worldwide today announced the deployment of a software development framework , Xibos ( www.xibos.com ) to rapidly develop and implement robust web based applications.

This is an all purpose database driven e-business development platform using XML and Java/J2EEbased technology. The platform provides a generic application framework and can fit into virtually any on-line business. Moreover an instance of this application module set can host multiple websites and/or web based applications.

Xibos was developed entirely at EcommIT and involved 1560 person months of work from design to development. The key features of the framework are messaging , site-builder, payment to name a few.

All modules in XML are written with input and output for each module carried out using XML based protocols. Through out the product if exchange of data is required between two modules or among a group of modules, or to/from external applications, XML is the basis of such transfers.
